I know it was taken with a 50mm lens but I find the composition too distracting. The large bright band on the right of the hand is taking all the attention away from the snail and the persons hand. if this was a grab shot i suppose there was very little you could have done about the background but in post processing it would have benefitted from cropping the right half and maybe an inch from the top of the image. A stop more would also have prevented the top of the hand from burning out. Sorry if i appear very negative but am just calling it how i see it, doesnt make me right, just my opinion
