Sitting there, alone in a foreign country, far from my job and everyone I know, a feeling came over me. It was like remembering something I'd never known before or had always been waiting for, but I didn't know what. Maybe it was something I'd forgotten or something I've been missing all my life. All I can say is that I felt, at the same time, joy and sadness. But not too much sadness, because I felt alive. Yes, alive. That was the moment I fell in love with Paris. And I felt Paris fall in love with me.
Paris, Je t'aime - The movie. ...... Just to be clear. I did not take this photo I just edited. My lovely friend Haya did, and that's her mother. When Haya came from Paris, I felt that she brought some of Paris with her, some lights, some fun, some romance and most of all, some life. And for that I thank her! ..... Featured here: [link] [link] CommentsShe took it with a simple compact Sony camera, but it was very well taken! Credits to her for that!

The first thing that moved me, I must admit, Is not the Eiffel Tower, nor the beautifull red beret over Haya's Mother. But the text itself on the "Artist's comment" section. Taken directly from one of my favorite movie, and the best dialogue in the whole movie.
We,all of us, non-Parisians, who went there, even for just one day or two, couldn not help but have this weird feeling...so weird yet lovely...
You know what i'm talking about.
I call it the Paris Syndrom.
Back to the picture. I must admit, even if it's a lovely picture, that "Paris, je t'aime" is a "We have seen it before" kind of picture. But at the same time...something is different, i can't tell if it's the red beret comig out from all the greyness(that is sometimes Paris) or the fact that is someone's dear mother on this picture, therefore making it so much more personal that those postal cards we buy for 4 Euros!
I like the vision of the Photograph, and the Edit Hassan did on it. The mother on the left of the picture is just a plus! Also(i almost omit talking about it ) The Mother, has her head resting on her shoulder, as if just gave a long and silent "Sigh", and we might interpret this as "God, I can't beleive i'm in Paris!!"
Overall:- good edit(the red of the beret is great, and so is the sky and lightning(or maybe the lightning was allready there???))
- Good Vision of the Photograph
-Good feelings are coling through it
Yes, you have my aproval! This is a very good picture that can move loads of people, just like it did on me.
the symbol of Paris. Paris and it's art which can be found in every corner. This photograph surely represents the feeling of Paris. The contrast of the main black and white photo and the red hat is what makes this photograph unique. It's wonderful how the photograph seems to become lighter and lighter... the Eiffel Tower is reaching the sky but is also high lighted, it surely makes you wish you were right there watching it all... in Paris!
